World." Ketchikan is surrounded by healthy rivers that draw thousands
upon thousands of salmon back every year. The 20' Hewescraft rental boat
is kept in scenic Knudson
Cove Marina. This is a great do it yourself location for an Alaskan
self guided fishing trip. For those who are interested in a doing it
yourself Alaska fishing trip will find the fishing in Ketchikan to be
world class . Within minutes of Knudson Cove Marina you'll be in some of
the best salmon fishing Alaska has to offer. By being surrounded by
islands you'll be able to comfortably enjoy fishing in Clover Passage in
almost all weather conditions. The boat is an Alaskan bare boat charter
service. It is setup for unguided saltwater salmon and halibut fishing .
The Alaskan bare boat has a Furuno fish finder, 2 Penn downriggers, a
Garmin map chart plotter gps, marine vhf, life jackets, flares, a
cooler, a net, and gaff hook. The rental boat in Ketchikan is powered
with a Honda 130 horse power fourstroke and a 6 horse fourstroke
trolling motor. The Ketchikan Alaska salmon fishing season starts in May
and runs through the 2nd week of Oct. Spring and Fall brings some
great Ketchikan Steelhead fishing. Ketchikan
river fishing for salmon and trout is also accessible with the boat. A
25 minute boat ride in protected water takes you to a dock where the
trail leads you along the Naha River and then to Jordan and Heckman
lake. Dungeness crab can be caught within 30 minutes of Knudson Cove.
This is Alaska skiff fishing at it's best. Those not interested in an
unguided Alaska fishing trip may opt for a guided Ketchikan fishing

The boat rents for $250.00 per day. We supply the boat full of gas and
require you to return it with a full tank. Four salmon rods and reels will be provided. A 20% deposit will be required in advance to hold
the days for you. Booking well in advance is usually necessary. We are a
small operation and will book well in advance for many times of the
season.
