We don't supply any meals. There are many options for restaurants in town. The lodge is outfitted with a Kitchen for you to cook your halibut, salmon or crab each night.

  • Are there grocery stores nearby?

There is a small convenience store within 2 miles. There are 2 large grocery stores and a Wal-Mart in town.

  • How many guests can fish at once?

We are regulated by the Coast Guard and can't take more than 6 guests at a time.

  • Will there be anyone besides our group on the boat?

There will never be anyone else on the charter with your group.

  • How long has the captain been a guide?

Your guide has been an Alaskan fisherman for 20 years. He started as a commercial salmon and halibut fisherman for his first 10 years and has been a salmon and halibut guide for the past 10 years.

  • Do you provide references?

If requested, let me know when you are planning your trip and I'll send references for your tentative time frame.

  • What should we bring?

Sweatshirts, boots, sunglass, medium weight jacket and a good camera. Try to keep your luggage to one bag. Alaska Airlines will let you check your bag and a 50# box of fish per passenger.

  • What do we do with our fish?

I have 2 options for fish processing. The first is to drop your fish off at the commercial processors. They will charge you around $1.50 per pound to fillet, vacuum pack, box and freeze your catch. For those who want to save a buck, I'll fillet the fish for you and you can use the commercial vacuum packing machine and freezer at the lodge.

Click on this link RATES . Once your on the rates page click on the 2,3,5 or 6 person group prices. The prices for 4 are right there on the rates page.

  • How do I know when is the best time to come?

Email us with what interests you the most. King salmon, silvers, halibut, crabs etc. Let me know if you are more interested in big fish or big numbers. Once I have this information, I'll let you know the best time for you to come.

  • If there are any questions left unanswered, send us an email. We'll respond as soon as we can.
